CONCLUSION: The severity of COVID-19 caused by the Omicron variant is not exacerbated by recent anticancer therapy in cancer patients. Therefore, anticancer therapy should not be discontinued in such cases, especially those with mild severity.
CONCLUSION: CAPM is a distinct entity with a higher mortality than CAROM. Hypoxemia during COVID-19 illness is associated with CAPM. COVID-19 hypoxemia and Aspergillus co-infection were associated with higher mortality in CAPM.
CONCLUSIONS: The majority of cases that died were unvaccinated. However, repeated vaccinations may not adequately protect all transplant recipients. There is a need to develop personalized treatment and prevention strategies in transplantation cases.
